Philly rowhome stairways can be steep and narrow, and sometimes the only way a couch came in was before the railing went up. If a piece won't fit, we can take it apart on site.
Donation when possible
Furniture in good condition goes to local charities when they'll accept it. Stained, broken, or worn-out pieces are recycled or disposed of properly.

Will you take apart large furniture?
Yes. If something won't fit through a doorway or stairwell, we'll disassemble it on site.
Can the City pick up my couch?
Philadelphia has a bulk collection program for some items, but you have to schedule ahead, follow item limits, and bring everything to the curb. We take it from inside the house the same or next day.
Do you donate furniture?
Yes, when it's in usable condition and a local charity will accept it.
